Statement of Candidacy

I am pleased to accept the nomination for the TASFAA 4-Year Public Representative. I currently serve as the Associate Director of Financial Aid at the University of Memphis and have worked in higher education for approximately 20 years with the last 8 of those being in the Student Financial Aid Office. I am a lifelong Memphian and alumna of The University of Memphis.

I have always been impressed with the level of professionalism and support within TASFAA. I have also seen first-hand how TASFAA strengthens the financial aid community by fostering professional development and providing helpful resources at the state level such as the annual conference and fall training workshops.  

My passion is helping students reach their full potential by walking them through the complex financial aid process and supporting them throughout their journey at the University of Memphis.

I appreciate your support and the opportunity to serve as the TASFAA 4-Year Public Representative.
